This exciting opportunity as a Quality Technician offers you the chance to work on innovative projects, contribute to the delivery of world-class military vehicles, and be part of a company that is shaping the future of the defence sector. Working a 2 shift pattern of 6.00am to 2.15pm Monday to Thursday (31hrs) Friday 6.00am to 12.00pm (6hrs) and 2.15pm to 00.00 Monday to Thursday. No Friday. – Total 37 hrs. 1 week turnaround.
What You Will Do:
– Conduct quality inspections and testing to ensure compliance with project requirements and standards.
– Perform visual and dimensional inspections, including first article submissions and final inspections.
– Use precision measuring equipment and techniques, such as laser scanning and coordinate measuring machines (CMM).
– Support audits, root cause analysis, and corrective actions to resolve non-conformances.
– Collaborate with project stakeholders to meet quality-related milestones and deliverables.
– Maintain and validate inspection and test documents while ensuring adherence to quality management processes.
What You Will Bring:
– Strong experience in quality inspection and testing, with a focus on attention to detail.
– Proficiency in using standard measurement tools and techniques, with experience in non-destructive testing (desirable).
– Knowledge of ISO 9001 or similar quality standards and root cause analysis methodologies.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders.
– Flexibility to travel and adapt to project needs, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
