Our client Dorset Waste Partnership Bridport Depot, are seeking SIX DRIVING CLEANSING OPERATIVE (RESORTS) to join them on a temporary seasonal contract. You will be working in a team of two, working together to ensure the towns, tourist hot spots and harbour areas are clean and safe for the public. The role involves driving to locations from West Bay to Lyme Regis, litter picking, emptying bins located where the main refuse trucks cannot access during the summer months. Customer service is key during this role as on occasion members of the public will approach you for information as you will be in Council uniform. This role is a key service during the summer to ensure the towns and beaches in Dorset remain stunning.
Working hours:
Rota hours – 4 days working and 2 days off (Rota includes weekends & Bank holidays)
April-May: 07.00am to 17.00pm (7.5hr shifts)
June-September: 06.00am to 19.00pm (12hr shifts)
Opportunity to work on refuse during the winter months if you wish to return following season.
You must hold:
- Full Manual UK Driving Licence with no more than 6 points
- Passport or Birth Certificate with National Insurance Number Proof
