Quantity Surveyor – Utilities & Infrastructure
West London
£500 to £600 per day – Inside IR35
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor to join a leading main contractor delivering major utilities diversions as part of a much larger, high profile infrastructure project. The Quantity Surveyor will be required on a temporary basis for a period of 6 months. This role is inside IR35 and the successful candidate will be paid via an umbrella company.
The Quantity Surveyor will be responsible for multiple work packages and tasked with carrying out final accounts on completed works and live commercial management of an NEC Option C gas diversion project.
Responsibilities
- Final account negotiations
- Managing compensation events, payment applications, change, forecasting and cost control
- Ensuring compliance with all contract mechanisms and reporting requirements
- Minimise commercial exposure through rigorous administration
Essential Requirements
- Demonstrable NEC Option C experience
- Proven track record in final accounting of complex infrastructure packages
- Experience in commercial governance, change control and subcontract management
- Available immediately
Desirable
- Gas or utilities diversion experience
- Major programme / tier-one contractor background
The rate on offer is £500 to £600 and will be dependent on your experience.
