What You\’ll Be Doing

As an Accountant, you\’ll be a trusted contributor to their day-to-day operations, supporting clients and colleagues across a variety of financial functions. This is a key role for someone who enjoys both detail and diversity in their work.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining accurate financial records and ledgers
  • Preparing journal entries, accruals, and prepayments
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly and annual accounts
  • Handling reconciliations (bank, supplier, balance sheet)
  • Managing accounts payable and receivable
  • Preparing and submitting VAT and statutory returns
  • Supporting the month-end and year-end close process
  • Liaising with clients, colleagues, and auditors

You\’re detail-oriented, driven, and ready to take ownership of your work. You enjoy contributing to a collaborative team while also thriving in independent tasks.

You\’ll need to bring:

  • AAT qualification or be part-qualified in ACCA, ACA, or CIMA (or equivalent)
  • Previous experience in a similar finance or accounting role
  • Working knowledge of accounting software (, Sage, Xero, QuickBooks)
  • Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills
  • A sound understanding of UK accounting and VAT regulations (desirable)
