Endoscopy Nurses – South West England (Travel and Accommodation Paid)
Sirona Medical are looking to recruit several Endoscopy Nurses for a very busy Endoscopy Unit on the South West of England.
Responsibilities
- Provide a high standard of individualised patient care as part of the clinical team within the Endoscopy Department.
- Deliver all aspects of nursing care at a high standard.
- Provide both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
- Confidently set up the endoscopy suite, ensuring equipment is available, fit for purpose and has undergone all checking and cleaning procedures.
- Ensure work is carried out to deadlines and within agreed working practices, including Health & Safety, hygiene and delivery of instruments to point of use.
- Maintain a clean and disinfected working environment.
- Liaise with internal customers to meet all service requirements.
- Maintain stock levels in line with department requirements.
- Dispose of decontaminated waste in accordance with statutory and PGH policies.
- Maintain accurate records in accordance with statutory and PGH policies.
Qualifications / Experience
- Experience in both diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy procedures.
- Experience in endoscopy rooms and recovery rooms.
- Experience with setting up and operating endoscopy equipment.
- Strong understanding of health and safety, hygiene and decontamination.
- Relevant clinical qualifications (e.g., RN, Band 5/6, HCA, Community Nurse).
