Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Assistant Accountant to join our dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with customs duty compliance and processes
- Supporting quarterly and annual statutory and regulatory reporting
- Assisting with internal controls and the year-end audit process
- Collaborating across functions
- Liaising with internal stakeholders
- Producing daily reports for submission
- Supporting data gathering and analysis for the team
- Assisting the wider finance team as needed
- Handling ad hoc requests
Who you’ll be working with:
You will work within the Finance team and collaborate with internal stakeholders across the business.
Skills/Experience:
This is what you’ll need to be successful in this role:
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) or AAT qualified
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with a desire to understand the \”why\” behind the numbers
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build stakeholder relationships
- Proactive, organized work approach, and IT proficiency, including strong Excel skills and experience with accounting software
