We are seeking a skilled FLT Driver (counterbalance) to join our diverse team. As an FLT Driver, you will play a key role in our warehouse operations, contributing to the efficient movement and organization of goods. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and make a meaningful impact on our logistical processes.

Responsibilities

  • Operate counterbalance forklift to safely and efficiently transport goods within the warehouse
  • Collaborate with warehouse operatives to perform picking, packing, and stock take tasks
  • Assist with loading and unloading delivery vehicles as needed
  • Conduct regular equipment inspections and report any maintenance or safety issues
  • Perform additional manufacturing duties within your capability (full training provided)
  • Adhere to all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a secure work environment
  • Maintain general housekeeping as you work

Qualifications

  • Valid certification and significant experience as a counterbalance forklift driver
  • Full UK B category driving license with no more than 6 penalty points (no DRs) is preferred
  • Proficiency in warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and stock take processes
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and diverse team environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with colleagues

Day-to-day

Your daily tasks will involve operating the forklift, collaborating with warehouse colleagues, picking/packing, performing general warehouse & manufacturing duties, ensuring equipment safety, and delivery driving to customers. Your role is pivotal in our logistical operations, ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse and delivery processes.
