About the role

ABC Teachers are seeking Dudley based 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to work within a local mainstream primary school setting.

We have roles across EYFS-Year 6 where you will be working closely with the class teacher to help support pupils on a 1:1 basis with students with a range of additional needs including ASD and ADHD. You will support them with daily activities to assist them in reaching their full potential.

We’re looking for a qualified teaching assistant with a passion for supporting pupils and the ability to adapt teaching techniques from pupil to pupil dependent on their needs and abilities.

The school are seeking an individual with a suitable qualification to work with young people alongside some relevant experience of working with SEND or Primary age children.

To be considered for the role of 1:1 Teaching Assistant you will:

  • Have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to join a team seamlessly

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

  • A Child Workforce DBS registered to the Update Service, or the willingness to process one.
  • Relevant experience of which we can reference
