JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

No Nights, No Weekends, No Bank Holidays

37.5 hrs, Monday to Friday, 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00 (Weekly Rotating)

Starting total remuneration £27.30 – (Includes starting salary & shift allowance)

If you\’re looking for a role that naturally leads to progression to become a Printer, you\’ll be joining a team that delivers hands-on support for our Printers and presses. This is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to develop in the print industry.

As a print assistant, you will be able to:

  • Demonstrate your organisational skills consistently throughout your role, by operating and maintaining equipment in the wet room, organising and signing-off job trolleys, and pre-empting ink top-ups and reel changes
  • Provide significant support to the Printers, by setting up machines and covering breaks to ensure jobs continue running throughout the day
  • Develop your knowledge of the print presses, printing techniques, and machine functions, to become an expert in your role
  • Use your keen eye for detail to proactively spot any errors in specifications and job bags, as well as show initiative to problem-solve and come to a solution
  • Work alongside the Studio Department and Printers to allow for an efficient production flow
  • Lead by example and ensure excellent Health and Safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • Become more skilled and influence our Continuous Improvement Culture and bring forward ideas for improved efficiencies and innovation

JOB REQUIREMENTS
