24-7 Recruitment Services, acting as an Employment Business, is currently recruiting for HGV Driver Class 2 on behalf of our client, a major retailer based in Livingston (EH54 8AS), within the Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain sector.
We require HGV Drivers to work on an ongoing basis. Working out of their RDC, you will be trunking goods to client stores throughout the UK. We offer a variety of working patterns and start times each day.
HGV Class 2 driver requirements:
- Hold a valid Class 2 / C License
- No more than 3 points (No DDs, DRs, TTs, or INs)
- Hold valid Tacho and CPC cards
- At least 1 year of road experience on HGV required!
HGV Class 2 driver duties:
- Operate modern trucks for a fast-growing business with ongoing work
- Long-term ongoing position
- Handball required on deliveries
Available shift patterns:
- Early start times typically between 03:00am and 06:00am
- Any 5 out of 7 days, including every 2nd Saturday or Sunday
- Tuesday to Saturday
- Sunday to Thursday
- Days shifts
HGV Class 2 driver compensation:
PAYE rates:
- Days: £15.40 per hour
- Saturday: £16.16 per hour
- Sunday: £16.97 per hour
- Overtime after 42.50 hours: £20.48 per hour
