Role Description

Are you passionate about helping young people transition successfully into the world of work? Do you thrive on building strong relationships and creating opportunities that make a real difference? If so, Kidderminster College wants to hear from you!

We are seeking a motivated and proactive Internship Job Coach to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will play a key part in preparing students for the world of work by sourcing and coordinating meaningful work placements and employment opportunities. Working collaboratively with teaching staff, employers, and families, you\’ll support learners every step of the way towards positive destinations – whether that\’s supported living, supported employment, or paid work.

What You\’ll Be Doing

  • Sourcing and arranging high-quality internal and external work placements.
  • Acting as a work-readiness coach, supporting learners on their employment journey.
  • Coordinating placement logistics and health & safety requirements.
  • Liaising with employers, staff, students, and guardians to ensure successful placements.
  • Tracking placement activity and producing regular reports to support learner outcomes.
