Opus People Solutions, on behalf of Northampton Childrens Trust, is currently seeking an Agency Kinship Social Worker to join their team.

Job Details:

  • Job Title: Kinship Social Worker
  • Length of assignment: 12 Months
  • Hours per week: 37
  • Hourly rate: £35
  • Location: Northampton Childrens Trust – NN1 1ED
  • Remote/Office based: Hybrid – predominantly remote work, with once monthly team meetings at OAS and additional days for duty and induction

Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake Initial Viability Assessments (IVAs) and full Kinship fostering and SGO assessments
  2. Supervise temporarily approved Kinship foster carers
  3. Conduct duty sessions periodically
  4. Collaborate with colleagues in the Kinship Assessment Team to support and represent the team’s work to other NCT colleagues and professionals
