Job Description

Job roles – Service Technician

Location – Eastbourne, East Sussex

Salary – £25,000 – £30,000 OTE

I am currently working with a busy main dealership in Eastbourne, East Sussex who are seeking a Service Technician to join their busy service department.

This is a great opportunity to work for a long established, main dealership – and this role will offer career prospects and development.

Service Technician job responsibilities-

  • Carrying out car and van servicing to manufacturer standards,
  • Carrying out car and van repairs
  • Carrying out diagnostic tests to vehicles, quickly identifying problems
  • Carrying out MOT test
  • Liaising with and updating the Service Manager on work in progress
  • Advising Service Receptionists about required repairs in detail
  • Working with the Parts Team ensuring required parts are available
  • Maintaining vehicle repair and service records
  • To maintain your work area, tools and equipment to a high standard
  • The role of Service Technician offers you the opportunity to work as part of a team, using your technical expertise to use and solve complex technical issues, whilst gaining new skills and exposure to new vehicle models, methods of working and full manufacturer training.
