About the Role
We are looking for an Inbound Planner to join our fast-paced logistics team. You will be the key in delivering outstanding service to our customers by managing goods from the factory to their end point. You will need a keen eye for detail and be able to build great working relationships across internal departments and our external logistics partners to ensure we get it right first time, every time.
Main Duties
- Maintain the inbound shipping log and updating it with any changes in the schedule.
- Planning the call off sequence of containers from the dock based on the orderbook and preventing additional charges.
- Coordination of inland transport with the hauliers and warehouse teams.
- Lead the daily inbound call to keep the logistics team members aware of any changes to the inbound plan.
- Verification and processing of shipping invoices.
Key Skills
- Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
- Experience of SAP preferred but not essential.
- Experience of co-ordinating inbound/outbound supply is preferred.
- Good level of Excel and Microsoft Office.
