About Our Home: At Sycamore Court, we believe our residents deserve to live in a home that is safe, comfortable, warm, welcoming and well cared for. We are looking for a reliable and dedicated Housekeeper to join our team and play a vital role in maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the Home. Sycamore Court is a 43-bed nursing home in Brighton and you will be joining a small, friendly team.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning residents\β rooms and shared areas to a high standard
- Handling laundry duties: washing, drying, ironing and returning clothing and linen
- Ensuring infection control procedures are followed
- Maintaining cleanliness, safety and dignity across the Home
- Respectfully handling residents\β items
- Working as part of a wider care team to support the comfort and well-being of residents
Qualifications
- Experience in a similar role or industry preferred, but not essential
- A caring, respectful approach towards residents and their belongings
- Good attention to detail and high personal standards of cleanliness
- Reliability, punctuality and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work flexibly, including weekends and bank holidays on a rota basis
