Housekeeping Assistant

We currently have bank contracts available. As a Housekeeping Assistant at HC-One, kindness will be at the heart of everything you do. It shapes our care across Dementia, Nursing, Residential and Specialist homes. Our Residents are people with rich lives and personal stories. By joining HC-One, you will help give something back – through care, respect and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Cleaning bedrooms, bathrooms and communal areas
  • Following cleaning schedules and tasks set by the team lead
  • Using products safely and following hygiene procedures
  • Supporting infection control and safety standards
  • Helping with laundry and linen care
  • Reporting any issues or repairs as needed

You will take pride in your work and keep everything spotless. Whether you are ticking off tasks or jumping in to lend a hand, you will do it with care and compassion.

Qualifications

Some housekeeping experience is helpful, but full training is provided. You will need to be organised, manage your time well and work with attention to detail. Most of all, you will bring a positive attitude and be kind and respectful in every conversation – with Residents, visitors and your team.

Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You are required to recognise signs of abuse, harm or neglect, attend safeguarding training, seek appropriate advice, report concerns and, if necessary, undertake additional training.
