Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our engineering team as a Production Engineering Technician working on the world’s first and only nanopore DNA sequencer. This is an exciting opportunity for someone passionate about new technology and eager to contribute to cutting‑edge products.
Duties
- Undertaking planned maintenance and calibration of production manufacturing equipment, following a monthly schedule of activities.
- Providing support to resolve technical issues, documenting investigations to reduce cost and improve reliability while complying with current quality standards.
- Reacting quickly to production quality issues using standard procedures.
- Supporting new product/process implementation and qualification activities.
- Managing calibration and maintenance schedules for the area.
- Monitoring current processing performance.

Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or an equivalent discipline and hands‑on experience in equipment maintenance and calibration within an automated or semi‑automated environment are required. Strong technical knowledge, effective communication, and the ability to prioritize and organize activities with a wider team are essential.
