Role Description:
You will lead in obtaining material loss data from equipment reporting systems within the Juice manufacturing plant, covering both the Ingredients Processing Centre (IPC) and Filling lines. Your responsibilities include determining weekly yield losses for each plant section, working with the site losses team to prioritize waste reduction actions, and being involved with operational modifications and validation using data systems and physical sampling.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collate loss data by SKU production run and filling line using plant systems such as Wonderware historian, SIG Fillers, Elopack Fillers, and SAP warehouse systems.
- Generate weekly Loss KPI, investigate non-standard losses through root cause analysis, and distribute reports to the site.
- Collaborate with the weekly losses team to generate waste reduction ideas, lead proposed changes, run trials, and report improvements.
- Participate in MES system build to automate waste recording and work with engineering to specify equipment changes.
- Develop expertise in data handling systems.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing standards, legislation, health & safety, and CDM regulations.
- Support the development of process, mechanical, and control engineering standards, ensuring ongoing compliance.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement focused on waste elimination.
Role Requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Food Technology, Chemical, or Food Engineering.
- Ability to handle and manipulate large datasets in Excel.
- Practical sampling trial setup skills and disciplined approach.
- Awareness of food manufacturing operations is advantageous but not essential.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
