Our amazing #TeamThorntree in Beith are on the lookout for caring, reliable individuals to join their team on a permanent part time (16 or 20 hours per week) basis.
Our team and the individual you\’ll support
You\’ll join a small, friendly and experienced team who provide care and support to a young man who has Autism and lives in his own home.
Your main focus will be to assist the young man with all aspects of his daily living, including shopping, finances, cooking, housework and personal care. As this young man also enjoys getting out and about in his own car, playing golf, visiting the arcade, long walks to name a few, we will also need you to be enthusiastic and supportive with his hobbies and interests too.
About You
You don\’t need experience to join our team, we recruit on values and transferrable skills. We\’ll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills that you\’ll need. We\’ll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification and yearly SSSC registration fees!
As this young gentleman does have his own mobility car, we will need you to hold a full UK drivers license and have a minimum of one years\’ experience on the roads.

All we\’ll need you to bring is: –

  • Confidence in the use of computers
  • A full UK driving license with a minimum of one year\’s driving experience

Shift Patterns
We are dedicated to providing the best care and support possible and shift patterns for this opportunity are currently hours the next day (includes a sleepover) Monday-Friday and hours the next day (includes a sleepover) on a Saturday and Sunday. Weekends and public holidays would be worked on a rotational basis.
