Job Specification: Tow Master

Position : Tow Master
Location : Offshore Vessel
Rotation : 3-4 weeks on/3-4 weeks off

Job Overview : We are seeking a highly experienced Tow Master to lead towing and mooring operations on an offshore vessel. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of towing and mooring, ensuring safe and efficient execution of operations.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Lead and manage the deck crew during towing and mooring operations.
  • Develop and implement detailed towing and mooring plans.
  • Conduct pre-job safety meetings and comprehensive risk assessments.
  • Coordinate with the marine crew and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
  • Ensure all towing and mooring equipment is regularly inspected and well-maintained.
  • Monitor weather conditions and adjust operations accordingly to ensure safety.
  • Provide expert guidance and training to the crew, promoting adherence to best practices and safety standards.
  • Prepare and submit detailed operational reports.

Qualifications :

  • Valid BOSIET with CA-EBS certification.
  • Valid OGUK Medical certificate.
  • MIST (Minimum Industry Safety Training) certification.
  • Proficiency in the Vantage POB (Personnel On Board) system.
  • Valid Shoulder Measurement for helicopter travel.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Tow Master or similar role, with extensive experience in towing and mooring operations.
  • Strong knowledge of offshore towing, mooring operations, and safety practices.
