HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic Location: Warrington Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Pay Rate: Up to Β£22.00 per hour (DOE) About the Role We are looking to recruit an experienced HGV Technician to join our established workshop in Warrington. This is a permanent position offering strong rates of pay and genuine flexibility around shift patterns and contractual hours. The role involves carrying out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a mixed fleet of HGV, Trailers and the occasional van, working to high safety and quality standards. Shift Patterns Flexible shift options are available, including days, 4 on 4 off, earlies, and lates. Contractual weekly hours are also flexible and can be agreed to suit individual circumstances. Workshop Facilities 4-bay workshop 2 full-length pits 1 half pit Vehicles & Equipment You will be working primarily on Mercedes, Scania, Renault, and MAN including curtainsider trailers, along with trailers and some vans. Key Responsibilities Servicing, maintenance, and repair of HGVs and trailers Fault diagnosis and rectification Ensuring all work is completed safely and efficiently Accurate completion of job cards and documentation Training & Development Ongoing training is supported, including IRTEC accreditation, as well as forklift and abrasive wheel training, where required.
