Frazer Jones are delighted to be supporting a leading consultancy firm on the recruitment of a Senior Associate to join the payroll team on a permanent basis.
Our client is offering hybrid working with 3 days per week required into the office.
The Role:
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including detailed calculations and thorough reviews to ensure accuracy.
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all payroll outputs.
- Submit Real Time Information (RTI) to HMRC and upload pension contributions to the relevant pension provider.
- Apply correct tax treatment to all pay components prior to implementation.
- Provide ad hoc payroll advice to both internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Support the onboarding of new payroll clients, including the creation of process documentation.
- Ensure all payrolls remain compliant and up to date with current legislation.
- Adhere strictly to agreed deadlines and payroll cut-off dates.
- Communicate with HMRC and third parties to resolve payroll-related queries.
- Manage year-end payroll processes, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently.
- Assist with the annual processing of P11D forms.
- Support the management team in delivering projects on time and to specification.
- Analyse time allocation against chargeable codes to support operational efficiency.
- Contribute to the training and development of the payroll team, including updates on legislation, system enhancements, and process improvements.
