Job Title: Wiring Technician
Working Pattern: Full-time

We’re seeking a skilled Wiring Technician / Panel Builder to join our Electrical Assembly team, where you will be responsible for building, wiring, and installing electrical distribution panels and switchboards to the highest safety and quality standards. Working from schematics and diagrams, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our systems are connected reliably and safely for marine and industrial applications.

This role sits within our Marine and Industrial electrical systems teams, supporting the build and installation of complex, high-specification distribution panels for mission-critical systems.

What You Will Be Doing
With this attractive opportunity you will get a chance to:
- Assemble electrical control panels and switchboards using electrical schematics and build instructions.
- Install components, copper bus-bars, power and control wiring in accordance with 17th/18th Edition IEE regulations.
- Perform fault diagnosis, electrical testing, and repairs to ensure safety and functionality.
- Use calibrated tooling, torque wrenches, and crimp tools to carry out high-precision, low-voltage electrical builds.
Who We’re Looking For

To be successful in this role you will need to:
- Be qualified to at least Level 2 in electrical fitting, ideally through a recognised apprenticeship.
- Have previous experience in LV switchboard or panel assembly within an industrial or marine environment.
- Be able to read and work from electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
- Demonstrate strong manual skills, attention to detail, and electrical safety awareness.
- Hold (or be working toward) 17th or 18th Edition wiring regulations certification. IPC or testing certifications are desirable.
