Ecommerce Specialist

Pertemps are looking for someone to join our client’s fast-paced, dynamic marketing team! We\’re looking for a motivated, detail-oriented individual with strong technical skills to help maintain and optimise their Magento 2 websites and digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities of this Ecommerce Specialist role:

  • Manage and optimise all digital channels, including social media.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve website issues in Magento 2, working with third-party vendors when necessary.
  • Update and improve website content, ensuring accuracy, consistent design, and a seamless user experience.
  • Develop and implement eCommerce strategies to drive ongoing improvements.
  • Create, design, and send email marketing campaigns via our ESP.
  • Manage CRM systems and maintain data accuracy.
  • Create engaging content pages to support campaigns and SEO goals.
  • Collaborate with our external development agency to enhance functionality and user experience.
  • Support website testing and report usability issues to drive continuous improvements.
  • Use Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, and Looker Studio to monitor, report on, and optimise site performance.
  • Identify and recommend training opportunities for personal and team development.
  • Assist with any other duties as required, with flexibility to meet business needs.
  • Skills required for this Ecommerce Specialist role:

  • Strong understanding of eCommerce roles
  • Hands on experience with digital marketing tools
  • Confident Magento 2 user
  • Strong organisational skills
  • High attention to detail
  • Minimum 1 year in a B2B eCommerce role
  • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and working with CSV files
  • Details of this Ecommerce Specialist role:

  • Salary: £24,000 – £26,000
  • 30 days holiday (including statutory), increasing to 33 days after one year’s service
  • Flexible working: Contracted hours over 4 days possible (subject to workload and management discretion)
  • Office hours between 08:00 and 18:00
