Job Opportunity: Wellbeing Practitioner

We are recruiting an experienced Wellbeing Practitioner to support the Sequoia Tree Service, a new support initiative across the BNSSG area, delivered in partnership with Avon and Wiltshire Partnership Trust. The role involves working collaboratively with the partnership, attending team meetings, and participating in reflective practice sessions.

Working Hours and Location

The core hours are Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with occasional evening work. The service hours may expand to 8am-8pm as the service develops, and location and hours are subject to review based on feedback.

Candidate Requirements

  • Proactive and collaborative work style; creative, adaptable, positive attitude
  • Experience supporting individuals with personality disorders or complex emotional needs
  • Experience handling incidents, safeguarding, and reporting
  • Ability to assess, plan, and monitor support to achieve recovery outcomes
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Knowledge of mental health needs and best practices
  • Experience supporting individuals in mental health crises
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Engagement with service users and carers
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Relevant qualification such as QCF Diploma or NVQ Level 3 in Care, or equivalent
  • Flexible travel across BNSSG area
