Personal Assistant – School Holiday’s ONLY
CAR USER ESSENTIAL
I’m a boy, 13 years old and live in Merthyr with my family.
I am looking for a personal assistant during school holidays 13 weeks of the year including half terms, Easter, Summer break and Christmas.
The vacancy will be a total of 18 hours per week to be arranged with Mum which days are suitable.
I have Autism, Global Development Delay and Epilepsy which is managed well. My family and my Social Worker would like for me to gain confidence and independence outside my family home, to access the community safely. I would enjoy 1-2-1 play and interaction which will develop my social skills. I need to gain tolerance to a variety of different social locations. I love being outdoors visiting parks, walking and driving in the car.
Tasks and Duties
- Promote/ensure my safety awareness
- Take me out in my local community
- Help me be more sociable and confident away from my family.
- A Car user with vehicle is essential
Working Hours / Pay of Rate
18 hours per week School holidays only x 13 weeks half term, Easter, Summer break and Christmas holidays.
£14.50 per hour and £0.40 pence per mile for mileage.

Salary Frequency – Calendar Monthly – By BACS.
Successful applicant will be subject to a three-month trial period.
A DBS check will be required, this will be at no cost to yourself.
