Chief Of Staff – UHNWI
London – Los Angeles – Toronto
£100,000 – £150,000
Once in a lifetime opportunity has arisen to support an UHNWI as their Chief Of Staff. This will be a demanding yet rewarding role, assisting and travelling with the Principal on a regular basis predominantly between London, Los Angeles and Toronto. This candidate will have experience working for a UHNWI in a personal capacity who has an open mindset, flexible and happy to be on call 24/7.
Operational Oversight:
Coordinate and streamline operations across UK, LA, Toronto and other locations, ensuring seamless collaboration between teams. Manage high-level priorities and ensure timely execution of critical household matters Oversee reporting lines for personal assistants, housekeepers, security, and other key staff, ensuring efficient delegation and accountability and with key 3rd party contractors Partner with and help coordinate with the property and art asset management teams to ensure effective management and maintenance of properties and art ensuring spend is tracked and approvals managed. Collaborate with the payments team to ensure timely payment of invoices related to the Principal\’s personal expenditure Communication and Coordination:
Foster clear, effective communication across all levels of the household operations Act as the key communication point of contact for the Principal across all affairs Prepare simple and digestible summaries, briefings, and updates for the Principal to facilitate informed decision-making Project and Task Management:
Oversee household projects, managing timelines, budgets, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes. Monitor progress on initiatives, identify potential issues, and implement solutions. Drive efficiency through the implementation of best practices and innovative tools. Drive strategic thinking on how to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Principal\’s household operations Family administration and ad-hoc requests, including working with concierge services. Team Leadership:
Support the Principal in managing and developing the team, including recruitment, onboarding, and performance management for all personal household staff (security, housekeepers, Pas, etc) Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. Travel and Logistics:
Oversee coordination of travel plans, schedules, and logistics for the Principal and family supported extensively by PAs Oversee arrangements related to multiple residences, ensuring smooth operations and high service standards. Confidentiality and Professionalism:
Maintain the highest standards of discretion and professionalism in handling sensitive personal and business matters.
The Successful Candidate:
Proven experience in a senior operational or strategic role, such as Chief of Staff, Operations, Private Office Manager, or similar. Exceptional organisational and project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities. Strong financial literacy and understanding of budgets, forecasts, and ROI-driven decision-making. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage diverse stakeholders. Experience working in high-pressure, fast-paced environments, with a proactive and solution-oriented mindset. Familiarity with family offices, luxury property management, Art is highly desirable. Tech-savvy with a strong interest in leveraging the latest tools and technologies to improve operations. Ability to work independently, demonstrate sound judgment, and anticipate the Principal’s needs. Hard working with ability to travel with short notice with the Principal
