As a Biosample Project Leader, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring the quality, efficiency, and impact of biosample strategies across our early development pipeline. You\’ll join the Regulated Bioanalysis and Biosample Operations chapter, where we collaborate across the entire drug development process — from discovery to on-market — to deliver the safe and effective therapies of tomorrow.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead the end-to-end operational delivery of biosample strategies across molecules or clinical programs

  • Ensure maximum utility of every sample, supporting safety, PD, and regulatory data needs

  • Act as a key partner to clinical and study teams, CROs, and vendors to implement sourcing strategies and maintain biosample quality

  • Own the oversight of biosample activities across multiple studies — from feasibility to close-out

  • Provide expert input to laboratory/vendor selection and support cost forecasting and budget oversight for sampling activities

  • Mentor others and contribute to knowledge sharing across studies and teams

  • Act as a subject matter expert on biosample-related processes and support scalable solutions to improve delivery across the portfolio

Who You Are

You are a collaborative problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced, science-driven environment. You bring:

  • A degree in life sciences and significant experience in biosample management across Pharma, CROs, biotech, biobanks, or clinical settings

  • Proven track record of operational excellence in clinical trials, ideally with complex multi-centre studies

  • A deep understanding of GCP/ICH guidelines and hands-on lab or sample management experience

  • Strong stakeholder skills, budget management capability, and the ability to think strategically while delivering operationally

  • A growth mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and a focus on what delivers real value for patients

  • We also welcome applications from early-career professionals with relevant industry experience within clinical trial development.

Join us to shape the future of biosample operations and help accelerate the medicines of tomorrow.
