Ulverston Day Opportunities require Senior Support Officers (in bot permanent and temporary positions) to support the delivery of Day Opportunities foradults with learning disabilities.
This is an exciting opportunity for the right personto join our team delivering quality services to Adults with learning Disabilities.
As a Senior Support Officer, you will work closely with the Supervisor to assist in the operation and improvement of the service, participate in the development of care programmes, plans and activities to support the physical, emotional, and social needs of individuals. You will also lead teams and support the development of other staff through guidance, encouragement and mentoring activity.
You will be required to work in partnership with a range of stakeholders, manage risk, maintain accurate records (using appropriate ICT systems), and ensure health and safety requirements are met. Our team are passionate about developing and promoting a person-centred, quality service for individual service users.
