Hey! We\’re Huel, and we\’re pleased to meet you
At Huel, we’re all about pushing boundaries and that includes how we plan and manage our supply chain. Our culture thrives on high performance, and we’re looking for smart, driven individuals who love solving problems with data and want to make a measurable impact.
If you’re someone with a sharp analytical mind and a hunger to apply it in a fast-paced environment, keep reading, this could be the perfect role for you.
The role
Our Materials Planning Team plays a critical role in making sure our customers always get the Huel they love, on time, every time. In this role, you’ll combine analytical insight with operational know-how to keep our production lines running smoothly by ensuring the right ingredients are available at the right time.
Your mission? Turn data into decisions that power our supply chain.
Here’s what your day-to-day could look like:
You’ll work cross-functionally to understand how much of each ingredient is needed and ensure they’re always in supply
- Use data-driven approaches to manage stock levels, balancing availability, lead times, shelf life, and order economics to hit key inventory targets.
- Place and manage replenishment orders for everything from core products to new recipe trials, making sure supply always meets demand.
- Collaborate closely with the Product Supply team to translate plans into action, adapting rapidly to changes in demand and supply.
- Assist with purchasing for all product ranges, including NPD trials and recipe changes as our range continues to grow
- Partner with our warehouses and suppliers to track inbound deliveries, resolve bottlenecks, and drive service excellence.
- Analyse supplier performance and collaborate with Procurement to optimise delivery schedules, mitigate risks, and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Monitor inventory health, shelf life, batch accuracy, and potential losses, to maintain best-in-class product quality and minimal waste.
- Maintain clean, actionable data in our systems and provide reporting that drives better decision-making across the supply chain.
What we\’re looking for in you
This role will best suit someone with around 1-3 years of experience in Supply Chain. We’re after someone who blends technical capability with a proactive mindset, someone who sees supply chain planning as both a science and an opportunity to innovate. Here’s what we think you’ll bring:
- We’re especially keen to hear from candidates with STEM backgrounds (e.g. Maths, Engineering, Physics), or anyone with strong data-driven experience in supply chain, operations, or planning roles.
- Confidence working with data, comfortable in Excel or Google Sheets, and ideally familiar with data tools or supply chain systems.
- A strong analytical approach to problem-solving, able to identify patterns, forecast needs, and make recommendations based on numbers.
- Extreme attention to detail. You care about accuracy, whether it’s stock levels, lead times, or wastage forecasts.
- With a collaborative working style, you’ll interact with teams across Huel, so communication and teamwork are key.
- Adaptability and drive, you’re energised by fast-paced environments and love taking ownership of your work.
