Band 5 or 6
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Midwife at Band 5 or 6 to join NHS Borders maternity service. We are a small team providing midwifery/consultant led care, with approximately 900 deliveries per year. We aim to provide family-centred maternity care to women and families within the Borders, focusing on the principles of Best Start.
Within this role, you will work across Labour Ward, Ward 16 (antenatal/postnatal), and Community, providing family-centred care and supporting the service with a focus on the principles of Best Start.
The Borders is a beautiful place to work, live, and play, with outdoor activities and stunning countryside. The maternity team benefits from the support of a small team and enjoys social activities.
