Job Title: Apprentice IT Technician

Location: King\’s Lynn (with some travel to other campuses)

Hours: 37 per week

Salary: from £14,275 per annum (subject to national minimum wage bands)

We have an exciting opportunity for a new apprentice to join our IT team. You will be provided with excellent support and training, and in turn will provide efficient and effective IT support to our learners and staff. You will gain experience of the wide range of support offered by our in-house team and learn more about a variety of hardware and software in use at the College.

This is a fantastic opportunity to develop your skills and experience by working as a College of West Anglia Apprentice. Apprenticeships give you the opportunity and support to develop new work-placed skills in an organisation committed to your professional success. You will be provided with training and course study and you will use the support on offer to maximise the benefits to your professional development. You will have the opportunity to participate in a supportive environment to develop the behaviours, knowledge and professional skills required of the role and the team. You will commit to your professional development plan, set out at the beginning of your Apprenticeship.

The actual apprenticeship on offer will vary depending on your skills, knowledge and previous qualifications and will either be the Level 3 Information Communications Technician or the Level 4 Systems Engineer (CompTIA Certified). Full details of the apprenticeship standards are below:
