Flexibility is required as shifts include bank holidays, weekends, and potential sleep-ins. If positivity, friendliness, and innovation are your traits, this job is for you! Main duties and responsibilities: Implement individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment. Maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families, and others, respecting confidentiality. Support service users with meal preparation, laundry, cleaning, and social events. Maintain accurate notes and records as required. Work as part of a team to provide high-quality care. Personal Characteristics: Diploma in Health and Social Care or willingness to work towards one. Experience supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities, and/or mental health issues. Ability to stay calm under pressure. Confidence to work independently or as part of a team. Excellent communication skills. Passion for working with vulnerable adults. Commitment to safeguarding standards. The Organisation: CareTech Community Services Ltd supports 5000 adults across more than 300 services in the UK, providing specialist social care services for a range of needs including learning disabilities, physical disabilities, autism, challenging behaviour, mental health, forensic needs, and brain injury. We promote independence and self-confidence through various community settings. Successful candidates must complete an enhanced DBS disclosure, with costs covered by the employer.
