Job Description:
The Mick George Group is currently recruiting a Concrete Plant Batcher/Relief Concrete Plant Supervisor to oversee the production of Ready Mixed Concrete and Screed, ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency in accordance with BS8500 standards.
Location: Field Based – All Concrete Sites
Working Hours: Monday – Friday, 7am-5pm, with overtime and Saturday work as required.
Pay: To be discussed during interview, based on experience.

Responsibilities:
- Compliance & Safety: Ensure operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, including ISO standards and legal requirements.
- Plant Operations: Operate batching plant according to procedures; maintain site, plant, and equipment.
- Technical Testing: Complete required testing accurately and timely.
- Customer Service & Sales: Handle customer inquiries and transactions professionally.
- Inventory & Stock Control: Maintain accurate records, minimize discrepancies.
- Team Supervision: Supervise staff and contractors, ensure safety and productivity.
- Reporting & Communication: Report non-conformances promptly.
Skills & Competencies:
Essential: Safety awareness, physical fitness, reliability, punctuality, driving ability.
Desirable: Basic IT skills, knowledge of concrete products, industry operations, logistics awareness.
