Overview
Painter and Decorator position at Mitie. Rate of Pay: £15.00 per hour. Contract Type: Permanent, Full Time. Hours: 38 hours per week. Location: Mitie, 35 Duchess Road, Rutherglen, Glasgow, Glasgow, Scotland, G73 1AU.
Responsibilities
- Carry out internal and external painting and decorating, including preparation works to walls and minor repairs to surfaces and structures prior to decorating/painting.
- Erect access equipment as required with appropriate training and access plant and temporary screening to protect the environment and people.
- Monitor decorating material stock and request new stock as required.
- Ensure all works are carried out within the approved budget and that painting and decorating equipment is used efficiently, kept clean and reusable.
Qualifications
- Recognised qualification or minimum of 5 years checkable experience in Painting and Decorating; apprenticeship preferred.
- Organised, self-motivated and have good communication and customer service skills.
- Full driving licence is preferred (but not essential).
