The predicted salary is between 19000 - 21000 £ per year.

Due to continued growth within the business, an exciting new opportunity has arisen for a HR/Payroll Assistant to join the Payroll and HR team at Lloyd Motor Group based in Carlisle.

Salary: Between £23,000 – £25,000 Per Annum (FTE/DOE)

Hours: 30 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 9.00 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.)

Flexibility on hours of work will be considered.

Role Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the HR and payroll team.

Duties shall include:

  • Assist the payroll team with the processing of payroll for over 1,400 employees by checking data submitted by Retailer Accountants against payslips.
  • Resetting password requests for employees to access the company intranet.
  • Co-ordinate in-house training by organising venue, sending joining instructions to delegates, producing training materials and arranging accommodation.
  • Other ad hoc administrative duties to support the wider HR Team e.g. Reference requests, stationery order, filing and scanning.

Ideal candidate will have the following skills and attributes:

  • Previous experience / knowledge of payroll is desirable, but not essential as full training will be given.
  • Accuracy and ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to use initiative and work unsupervised at times.
  • A great team player, working alongside others with integrity, positivity and respect.
  • Confidentiality and discretion are a must.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • IT literate with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Outlook).
