Key Responsibilities:
The Contract Specialist role will oversee running S2C E2E and in full responsibility for e.g. simple framework agreements, contract amendments with no commercial impact, contract terminations, re-papering with no commercial impact of Chain IQ clients under the guidance of clients’ legal teams with all contracting stakeholders, as a key contact for the stakeholders during the process.
In addition to core responsibilities, the role may also involve handling specific, one-time requests to support the Strategic Tactical and Operational Sourcing teams as needed. The focus is to support the sourcers in reducing material deviations from the contractual standards and policies agreed with the client (on client or vendor paper) in a constantly changing matrix environment amongst diverse functional teams. Each team member will need to be able to leverage quick learning skills and accuracy, as well as ability to collaborate transversally both as team player as well as independently, and to manage multiple priorities in parallel. They are engaged as a third step of escalation, after the sourcers initial negotiation and consultation with their manager.
Qualifications:
A degree in Law or a related field (para-legal background welcome)
