About the role
We are currently looking to recruit several new positions of Mental Health Specialist Support Worker roles based at our Mental Health Rehabilitation and Recovery service in Shropshire. The role will be based in Shrewsbury to provide recovery-focused support to individuals with complex and enduring mental health needs, working as part of a 24-hour CQC Regulated service.
In your role you will assist Adults with safe administration of medication, diet, cooking, shopping, exercise, employment, training, relationships, sleep hygiene, daily activities, appointments, and confidence. Our main goal is to support our resident groups daily living goals so they can live independently, whilst living with mental health illness(s) .
We work closely with the NHS, adult Mental health social workers, advocates, local support charities, employment agencies and family to ensure that a personal support plan and goals can be reached for everyone.
