Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales Target Achiever: Work closely with the Hotel General Manager and Director of Sales (DOS) to meet and exceed annual sales targets and the overall hotel sales budget.
  • Strategic Implementer: Collaborate with the DOS to execute defined sales and marketing activities from the Hotel Commercial Plan, ensuring the achievement of annual sales goals.
  • Business Prospector: Proactively seek new business opportunities through targeted sales activities, including developing a networking plan and hosting bespoke familiarization events to optimize sales from key segments.
  • Pipeline Converter: Implement proactive sales activities and customer engagement strategies to ensure consistent conversion of the hotel sales pipeline and retention of future business.
  • Industry Participant: Actively participate in key target market LGH Industry Sector working parties to generate new business opportunities.
  • Agency Collaborator: Engage with third-party agencies alongside the LGH Agency Sales Team to creatively represent hotel products and increase awareness.
  • Revenue Maximizer: Execute proactive sales activities as outlined in the hotel commercial plan to maximize all revenue opportunities, including supporting Special Events Coordinators (SEC) in growing sales from social banqueting, Christmas events, open lobby, weddings, and seasonal events..

Ideal Candidate

  • Proven experience in a proactive sales management/leadership role within the hotel industry.
  • Strong financial analysis and budget compilation skills.
  • Local market experience within regional hotel locations.
  • Demonstrated success in direct sales and new business development.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and territory management.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and customer hosting skills.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Strong organizational and planning abilities.
  • Experience in proactive sales within a franchise portfolio and/or IHG.
  • Corporate, Leisure, and MICE market sales development experience.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Opera PMS.
