What we need from you:
- Some experience in electrical/electronic design, with a good understanding of AC/DC circuit theory, and the capability to do some simple mechanical designs
- Have a desire for personal growth and success
- Able to get on with people customers, staff and contractors
- Hold a UK driving licence, with access to your own vehicle
Desirable, but not essential: (specialised training will be given where required)
- Qualifications in electrical/electronic engineering
- Experience using CAD & Photoshop
- Familiarity with the use of BSI & international standards
What the role involves:
In a junior position, you will report initially to the Production Manager. In a more senior role, you will report directly to the Managing Director. Responsibilities will vary depending on your level of experience and seniority but may include the following:
- Design customer solutions both products & systems
- Liaise with our key suppliers
- Complete site surveys, and reports, as well as input to tender proposals.
- Maintain the company HERS registration and assist with the ISO9001:2015 approval.
Salary: Competitive, depending on your level of experience and qualifications working as an engineer.
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8am 4.30pm and Friday 8am 1pm.
