As an Infrastructure Developer at JPMorgan Chase within the Technology Infrastructure department, you will utilize your strong knowledge of software, applications, and technical processes within the infrastructure engineering discipline. You will apply your technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies across multiple applications of moderate scope.
Job responsibilities
- Apply technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to projects of moderate scope, focusing on improving data and systems at scale, and ensure end-to-end monitoring of applications.
- Resolve most nuances and determine appropriate escalation paths.
- Execute conventional approaches to build or troubleshoot technical problems.
- Create technical documentation and presentations to facilitate knowledge sharing.
- Partner with global application and infrastructure teams to identify potential risks and govern remediation statuses.
- Consider upstream/downstream data and systems or technical implications.
- Be accountable for making significant decisions for projects involving multiple technologies and applications.
- Add to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Formal training or certification on enterprise technologies concepts and proficient applied experience.
- Experience in one or more of the following: Microsoft Windows Server, PowerShell, and Terraform.
- Strong communication and organizational skills related to product, program, or project management.
- Strong knowledge of infrastructure disciplines such as hardware, networking, databases, storage engineering, deployment practices, automation, scaling, resilience, and performance assessments.
- Drive to develop infrastructure engineering knowledge in additional domains, data fluency, and automation.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Familiarity with Active Directory, ADFS, or other modern authentication products and protocols such as OAuth and SAML.
- Knowledge of one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
