Calibration Engineer / Calibration Technician / Calibration Specialist required for a Calibration and Metrology Service provider near Stockport, Manchester.
The successful Calibration Engineer will be responsible for calibration measuring instrumentation and repair facilities to ISO9001, ISO17025 standards and UKAS standards. You will be responsible for calibrating Micrometres, Callipers, Height Gauges, Torque Wrenches and Gauge Blocks.
This is an onsite role, the successful Calibration Engineer / Calibration Technician / Calibration Specialist must be commutable to Stockport, Greater Manchesr.

The Role:
- Perform calibration of customer equipment to ISO9001, ISO17025 and UKAS standards
- Calibrating Micrometres, Callipers, Height Gauges, Torque Wrenches and Gauge Blocks
- Produce, develop and audit automated and manual calibration procedures for use within the laboratory for customer calibration
- Handle technical enquiries and liaise with clients when necessary
- Provide technical support and mentoring to junior colleagues
Requirements:
- Previous experience with calibration including Micrometres, Callipers, Height Gauges, Torque Wrenches and Gauge Blocks.
- Inspection or calibration experience in the manufacturing, aerospace or automotive sector
- Good understanding of calibration practices and theories
- Good working knowledge of BS EN ISO/IEC 17025: 2017
- Commutable to Stockport
