Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for machinery and a knack for building strong customer relationships? We are supporting, a leading supplier of Agricultural, Groundcare, and Construction machinery across Central Scotland, they are looking for a Construction Area Sales Manager to cover a defined territory within Central Scotland.
This is a field-based role where you\’ll be the face of our business, reporting directly to our senior management team. You\’ll be responsible for promoting our company and the premium brands we represent to customers within your assigned territory.
What We\’re Looking For:
Ideally, you\’ll have experience in machinery or vehicle sales and a good understanding of the Construction industry. However, we\’re also keen to hear from individuals with a natural interest in machinery, as the client offers a in-house and manufacturer\’s sales training.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for new and existing customers within your territory.
- Proactively identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Showcase our premium products and services to prospective clients.
- Understand customer needs and recommend the best product solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales team and other internal departments to achieve individual and group sales targets.
- Maximise upsell and cross-sell opportunities.
- Provide regular reports on your sales performance to your line manager.
