On behalf of our client, a leading manufacturer of marine propulsion systems, TQR are seeking aSales Engineerto join a growing commercial team. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a business thats on an exciting growth trajectory, backed by a multinational group and expanding across Europe. The Role: This is a varied and rewarding position that blends technical understanding with commercial drive. Youll be responsible for managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, and developing long-term relationships with clients across the marine industry. While the role is primarily office-based, youll also attend trade exhibitions, visit customers, and occasionally travel overseas. Key Responsibilities: Develop and manage a healthy sales pipeline, from enquiry to close. Prepare technical quotations tailored to customer requirements. Deliver exceptional customer service and aftersales support. Collaborate closely with engineering and manufacturing teams. Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions. What Were Looking For (Essential): A background in technical or engineering sales, ideally within the marine sector. Strong communication and relationship-building skills. A proactive, self-starting approach with a hunger to succeed. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. IT literacy (Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel). Full UK driving licence.
