In this role you\’ll play a key part in maintaining and improving the many technical interfaces that connect a core system with a variety of internal and external systems. You\’ll also help support our UK databases by monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimising performance.
Interface Analyst & Junior DBA
Portsmouth – Hybrid
Up to £40,000 per annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and enhancing a suite of critical data interfaces (e.g., CCS, Mileage Uploads, Contract Loader)
- Monitoring and optimising connector and batch performance
- Leading solution design and implementation of new data interfaces
- Working with third-party vendors and internal teams to solve integration issues
- Assisting our Development DBA with database support and stability
- Troubleshooting failed data loads and restarting processes as needed
Key Skills & Experience:
- 3+ years in a similar role
- Solid experience with SQL Server, SSIS, APIs (REST), JSON, XML, CSV, SFTP
- Strong analytical and technical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience with IT security, data governance, and compliance
