We are recruiting a Lead Therapeutic Practitioner for our Blaenau Gwent MyST community team. MyST is a therapeutic service for looked-after children who are at risk of being placed in out-of-area residential or institutional care due to their complex emotional and mental health needs. They are a well-established, experienced and high performing multi-disciplinary team, providing excellent mental health and therapeutic care to some of Blaenau Gwent’s most vulnerable looked after children. You will also be a part of our Regional, Gwent wide MyST Programme.

This post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. A comprehensive pre-employment screening process will be undertaken which will include an Enhanced Disclosure with Child and Adult Barred List.
Access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement of the role.
Ability to work out of hours on call on a rota basis is an essential requirement of this role.
