Our client offers a 4-day working week with a rewarding and generous commission structure and sociable working environment. They are looking for an outgoing, confident and experienced sales person to join their team as a Trainee Recruitment Consultant – no experience needed!
When joining our client\’s specialist recruitment business, you will join a warm desk working on pre-existing client accounts with a focus. We are considering candidates with a sales, account management, customer relations, insurance or other sales/KPI target driven background that want to work in a fast-paced environment, recruiting both UK and International contractors and permanent staff.
The position will seek a career-oriented individual seeking to increase their OTE opportunity to £(Apply online only)k within two years once they have established themselves as subject matter experts. The business has a proven track record for individuals achieving high earning potential and we can underpin this with the knowledge of at least 4 recruiters we have placed with this business in the last 7 years, are all still in post.

As a Recruitment Consultant you will:
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients and candidates
- Become knowledgeable within the Specialist market place and learn all aspects of the business
- Negotiate job offers and terms with candidates
- Qualify candidates and develop strong relationships with them in order to build a strong pipeline of talent.
- Promote job opportunities to candidates and nurture them through the interview process.
- Resource candidates using the database, job boards and LinkedIn
- Successfully place candidates and achieve monthly targets
- Be proficient in telephone canvassing, market research with a good understanding of the sales cycle.
- Attend client meetings
- Have good administration skills and be competent in maintaining accurate records of client and candidate interactions on a database.
The ideal Recruitment candidate will:
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- High standard of presentation and professionalism.
- Be keen to develop a career in recruitment and have a good understanding of why.
- Be results and target driven with an understanding of the recruitment or sales cycle with experience closing deals
- Have a competitive nature with the ability to work within a team
- Experience working towards KPIs or sales targets
- Experience in targeted retail sales, tele-sales, account management or client relations required.
