Calibre Search has a new role available for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor based in Leeds City Centre.

This position offers career development and job satisfaction within a thriving national consultancy that has been operating in the North East market for many years. The company is known for providing a range of services including project management, quantity surveying, and Employers Agent work on high-profile commercial and residential developments.

You will assist Associates and Directors on various tasks, supporting your progression towards MRICS Chartered status.

Ideal candidates are Quantity Surveyors with post-degree experience, familiar with cost planning or Employers Agent services within a consultancy environment.

This is a great opportunity to join an established firm with a clear progression structure and learn from some of the UK\’s most experienced QS professionals.

Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Work independently and as part of a team.
  2. Manage client interactions at all levels.
  3. Maintain professional presentation, attention to detail, and flexibility.
  4. Provide Pre & Post Contract services such as Final Accounts, BOQs, and measurements.
  5. Engage in Project Management, Employer Agent services, on-site travel, and inspections.
  6. Hold a degree in Quantity Surveying or a related RICS-accredited field.
  7. Have previous experience in a construction environment, preferably within consultancy or client-side roles.
