Here at the Mick George Group we are currently recruiting a Class 2 Roro Driver to join the team.
Location: St Ives (Cambridgeshire) Working Hours: Monday – Friday between 6am – 6pm, Occasional Saturday work averaging 50 hours per week Pay: On target earnings circa £46,000 per annum plus performance related bonuses Benefits: Competitive Salary, Company Pension, Employee Assistance Programme, 28-Days holiday inclusive of bank holidays, Company benefit platform, Cycle to work scheme, PPE provided, Internal training and Career development.

About the Role Due to continued growth, we are seeking Class 2 Roro Drivers to join our business and continue driving the business to success.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our existing team of Class 2 Roro Drivers.
Successful applicants must hold a Category C driving license, Digital Tachograph Card & Drivers Qualification Card.
Main Responsibilities: Perform Pre-Shift and End-of-Shift vehicle checks including regular walk around inspections and report any defects found.
Adhere to road safety rules, including the Highway Code and Road Traffic Act, and complying with driving regulations like the Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours.
Ensure loads are secure and within weight limits and following site-specific rules.
You must maintain vehicle cleanliness, provide excellent customer service, and drive safely and economically.
Demonstrate a high level of Geographical Knowledge.
Complete any adhoc requests.
