Job Title: Data Modeller
We are seeking an experienced data modeller to assist in the migration and reimagining of on-premises applications and data models into GCP Data Products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive and ensure that data modelling aspects of solution design meet business requirements.
- Create conceptual data models aligned with the Enterprise Data Model.
- Develop logical data models and schemas.
- Design physical data models and schemas optimized for performance and access.
- Define mappings between physical and logical data models.
- Guide Data Models through the governance process.
- Register GCP Data Products in Collibra.
- Apply enterprise data modelling techniques such as de-normalised views and star schemas.
Key Skills, Knowledge, and Experience:
- Proficiency in ER Studio.
- Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform components like GCS buckets, BigQuery, Kafka, etc.
- Experience with advanced SQL, SSIS packages, Python, and Unix Shell scripting.
